Reviews From Postpartum Doula Clients

“Marisa has been an incredible resource for me as a first time, new mother, and my family. She helped immensely with tips on breastfeeding and keeping up my milk supply, my own postpartum care, and other tips and tricks that were helpful for me as a new mom. Marisa is completely non judgmental and supportive of decisions we’ve made as parents and the questions we have had.”

“Your class was an excellent experience! Thank you for not only answering my questions, but making me feel validated for asking them. This is a wonderful community you created and I’m honored to be a part of it during this season of my life”

“I reached out to Marisa for help with my breastfeeding journey 5 days postpartum, and she immediately validated any concerns or hesitancies I had with continuing my journey, while offering advice and a plan if I chose to continue, or strictly formula feed. She gave me the tools and information I needed to make a decision, as well as permission to let any expectations and pressure go. Finding someone who cares about your personal journey and goals, as well as your mental health is something everyone should have!”

“I can’t recommend Marisa and her services enough. From the beginning of my pregnancy Marisa was so knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations for my baby registry must haves, herbal and natural remedies for pregnancy symptoms, and of course breastfeeding. When I found out I was pregnant I was SO sure I wasn’t interested in breastfeeding and wanted to strictly pump and bottle feed. With the assistance of Marisa I learned to LOVE breastfeeding and can’t imagine not having this bonding time with my baby boy. I am still pumping and my husband will bottle feed when I’m not available, and I am freezing my overstock of milk. Marisa has been vital in showing me how to use my pumps, and how to save and pack my milk safely. As a first time mom I thought I was prepared for motherhood with 5+ classes I took on childbirth, infant care, CPR, and others. Although very informative, nothing takes the place of having a postpartum doula by your side during the transition period from pregnancy to motherhood.”
